Who we are
T&G Consulting and Design LLC (“we”, “us”) operates the website tgcdesignsf.com. Our mailing address is San Francisco, California, USA. You can reach us via our contact form.
What we collect and why
When you visit this website we record a single anonymous log entry containing:
- IP address — the address your device used to reach our server.
- Approximate location — country, region and city derived from that IP address using an offline geolocation database (geoip-lite). No precise coordinates are stored.
- Timestamp — the date and time of the visit.
This data is used solely for aggregate traffic analysis (e.g., counting unique visitors by country). We do not build individual profiles, track you across sessions, or share this data with any third party.
What we do not collect
- No cookies of any kind are set.
- No browser fingerprinting or device identifiers.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels.
- No third-party analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, etc.).
- No form submissions, names, email addresses, or account data unless you contact us directly.
Legal basis GDPR Art. 6
For visitors in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing the above data is Legitimate Interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in understanding basic traffic patterns in order to operate and improve this website. This processing is minimal, does not involve sensitive data, and is unlikely to override your interests or rights.
Where data is stored
Visit records are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Gandi Simple Hosting. No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial or tracking purposes.
How long we keep it
Visit log entries are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. We may delete data sooner if it is no longer needed for traffic analysis.
Your rights GDPR
If you are located in the EEA or the UK you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any data we hold about your IP address.
- Erasure — ask us to delete log entries associated with your IP address.
- Objection — object to processing on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Lodge a complaint — with your national supervisory authority or local Data Protection Authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact form (selecting “Privacy Request: Europe / EEA (GDPR)”) with your IP address and the approximate date of your visit. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents CCPA
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. To submit a request, please contact us via our contact form (selecting “Privacy Request: California (CCPA)”) with your IP address and the approximate date of your visit. We will respond within 30 days.
